I make the Blue Ridge Mountains my home, as you can see by the picture at the top of the page. I took this picture from an overlook on the Blue Ridge Parkway called Thunder Hill. From this overlook you are able to see the beautiful mountains and also several cities that are located “off the mountain”.
I am bride to Steve and we have a teenage son that we began homeschooling this year. Each day brings many challenges in this new endeavor, but I am excited to witness my child experience learning in a brand new way.
The creation of this blog came out of a desire to produce a place where others can be encouraged, yet have the freedom to exchange ideas, even when we may not agree! My prayer is that you will feel welcomed and that together we can create a sense of community here. The title of this blog sums up my intent to share my thoughts as they pertain to Christ who dwells in me. Until my last breath, I will speak of the good news of Christ, the good news that breaks the bondages that capture so many of us. I will attempt to encourage and challenge those around me until my last breath.
